Did you ever receive a rooster or hen as a Christmas present? Maybe not, but for the family of a Bridge of Hope child, these animals are a welcome gift—and often the source of anywhere from 200–300 eggs a year! And when the pair produces chicks, a brood develops that will provide nourishment and income for years. For just $11, you can bless a South Asian family with a pair of chickens.
Water Buffalo $460
A Christmas gift of a water buffalo to a poor family in South Asia is one that will bring provision for years to come. Whether it's providing transportation, pulling the plow for harvest, or providing milk—this animal is a wonderful addition to any family! For $460, you can give this Christmas gift that will never be forgotten.
Goat $60
Were there goats in the stable on the night Jesus was born? The Bible doesn't say. But a Bridge of Hope child will feel like it is Christmas when his or her family receives your present of a goat—or a pair of goats. Goats are hardy and can live in almost any climate. A pair of goats produces at least two offspring each year and generates plenty of milk to drink and sell. Your gift of goats—given in the name of Jesus—is a good way to bring joy into a poor family's world.
Sewing Machine $85
Remember your grandmother’s sewing machine? You may have seen one like many people in Asia still use today—operated by a foot treadle. For the poor of Asia, sewing is not just a hobby; it is an opportunity to earn a livelihood for their family. This Christmas, you can give a gift of a sewing machine for $85 that not only will put clothes on the backs of a mother’s children, but will put food on her family’s table as well.
Bio Sand Water Filter $30
Many poor regions of Asia have no source of pure drinking water. Using concrete and sand, these bio water filters remove impurities, providing water for drinking and cooking that is 98 percent pure. For $30, help provide pure water in an Asian village—and a chance for them to hear of the living water Jesus offers.
Child Hope Packet $50
The opportunity for a Dalit child to receive an education and the love of Jesus is the best Christmas gift imaginable. Your Child Hope Packet will make it possible for an "Untouchable" child to go to school. Your gift helps provide school uniforms, books, tutoring and help with homework, at least one nutritious meal each day and a yearly medical checkup. Children in the program will also hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many times, entire families are changed through just one child.
A Card Sent On Your Behalf
During the checkout process:

We will send one card to each person you honor, along with inserts describing each gift.
If you wish, we will send Christmas cards to you that you may then send to those you have honored with a gift.
Requests for honoree cards received by December 15 will be processed for delivery
in time for Christmas. Those received after December 15 may not arrive before
Christmas. Cards are only available to US residents.
Thank you for visiting CSN Radio's Gospel for Asia Christmas gift campaign.
On this page, you will find some very special Christmas gifts. These gifts will help a Dalit (“Untouchable”) family break the cycle of poverty while also serving as a tangible expression of Jesus’ love this Christmas season.
As you make your gift list this season, consider giving presents that have the power to change lives forever!
Gospel for Asia's mission is to share the Good News of
Jesus with those who have never heard his name.
Training of Laborers
Gospel for Asia has 67 Bible colleges throught South Asia
where more than 9,000 men and women are studying God's Word
and undergoing intensive three-year training in preparation
for ministry. Through the weekend and summer outreach, the
students help many come to the saving knowledge of Christ.
Most of the Bible college graduates will go on to minister
in areas where the Gospel has never been proclaimed.
Native Missionaries
GFA has 16,500 native missionaries sharing the hope of Jesus
in Asia. And they are seeing incredible fruit in the lives
of people to whom they are proclaiming Christ! Although they
often risk persecution as they carry forth the Gospel, these
missionaries boldly carry on, counting it as a privilege to
suffer for Christ.
Bridge of Hope
GFA's Bridge of Hope outreach educates children, reaching
out especially to low-caste and Dalit ("Untouchable")
communities. Through the Bridge of Hope, the "least of these"
have a chance to improve their daily lives and—most
of all—to hear that Jesus loves them. They receive an
education; a warm, nutritious meal each school day; textbooks
and school uniforms; and a yearly medical check-up. Entire
communities have been transformed through these children.
Financial Accountability
Gospel for Asia conducts ministry with the highest standards
of financial integrity in managing the funds entrusted to use
by God's people. We are a charter member of the Evangelical
Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and have been
certified as one of the "Best in America" by the Independent
Charities of America (ICA). This is your assurance that we meet
the highest standards of public accountability, cost efficiency
and program effectiveness set by both of these organizations.
Literally meaning "crushed" or "broken", the word
"Dalit" appropriately describes the people who bear this title.
Also known as the "Untouchables," there are 300 million of them
in Asia.
The Indian caste system views these Dalits as inferior. Scorned. Worthless.
There jobs are menial—the ones nobody else wants. They
may work hard in the fields of landlords for just pennies, or
rummage through piles of debris scavenging for rags. Or worse,
in areas that lack an adequate sewage system, they may have to
dispose of human waste. Crimes such as assault, murder and rape
are often committed against Dalits. Because of their very low
social status, it is very difficult for a Dalit to see justice
in such situations.
Their children have little opportunity to receive a decent
education or to better themselves. They can’t even draw water
from the village well, inflicting additional hardship on their
already precarious survival.
But there is a resonating chord of hope for the Dalits—
a loving Creator who longs to touch deep into their hearts. And
following in Christ’s steps, Gospel for Asia is reaching out with
His compassion to minister to their physical needs, helping to
break the cycle of poverty as well as giving them the opportunity
to know their Savior’s love.
Gospel for Asia Bridge of Hope centers reach out to the
children of Dalit (“Untouchable”) communities, giving them the
opportunity to receive a quality education and to hear of the amazing
love of Jesus. And through the Christmas catalog, GFA is able to bless
such families with gifts that mean the world to their daily lives while
also showing them the Savior’s love.
100% Goes to the Field!
One hundred percent of all contributions designated for use on the mission field are sent to the mission field.
Since the ministry began, we have sent 100 percent of field sponsorship to the nations we serve and trusted the Lord to provide for our overhead costs.
At the same time, we do our part to keep these expenses very low. For instance, our home office staff members raise their own financial support, which covers their salary and benefits, helping keep our overhead costs at a minimum.
The Lord has been faithful to meet our every need for almost 30 years, and we give Him glory and thanks.
Dear Friend,
It is the Christmas season again! Delicate snowflakes, joyous songs and warm
fuzzy coats all remind us of God’s great provision and care for us.
As I sit in my warm living room with my wife, I thank God for sending us Jesus.
And I can’t help but think of the thousands of men, women and children in Asia who are
rejoicing with us. I still remember the “small beginnings” of our ministry
nearly 30 years ago. I marvel and praise God for the countless lives of men,
women and children in Asia He has touched through the years. For many, this is their
first year to know about Jesus—and what a joyous celebration it is for them
this Christmas season!
But I am also reminded that for many of these poor believers, a new
animal or a clean drink of water would mean more than a new electronic gadget
might mean to us. Since many of these families don’t know about Christ, these gifts
will give our missionaries a chance to share the Gospel—the best gift of all.
This area offers you the chance to lift up your eyes and pour out the spirit
of rejoicing on needy families in Asia. These gifts all bring a life-changing
message of Christ’s provision and your thoughtfulness. It’s such an easy
way to truly transform a life during this season of celebration!
I am glad you have visited our Christmas Campaign. May your heart be filled with the
Savior’s joy this Christmas season.
