I originally started this campaign in November of 2012 after talking to a dear sister who called into Gospel for Asia's Call Center while I was serving there! It was one of the greatest conversations ever as I got to share with her about church buildings and how impacted I was when I visited the field in 2007. One of my favorite parts of the trip was hearing one of our brothers explain to our team how important a church building is to the believers in Asia.
This is not just a building they stand by and watch go up, It is more than that! It is a community coming together to build a physical building, a foundation, a place for worship!
After sharing with this sister, she had asked me if I had a church building that she could give towards on my behalf. Of course I didn't at that moment as it was just a nice thought and a slight act of prayer for me at the time. But the Lord used this sister to confirm that I needed to step out in faith and be obedient to what the Lord had placed on my heart over the years, trusting that the Lord would bring others alongside me to partner in seeing a church building provided for many believers in South Asia.
So, here I am - almost two years later - and this campaign has been in a resting place for the last 8 months. My heart is to still see a church building provided and I want to be more proactive about putting funds towards this campaign. Would you please pray that I would be faithful in obedience to this goal the Lord set before me. And, if you feel a tug on your heart from the Lord to stand with me in this, would you also be obedient?
It is a joy to say "yes" to God and be obedient to Him! I can't wait to see how the Lord is going to continue to fulfill HIS promises for this campaign AND for whatever He has for me in the future as I continue on in this waiting season I am in. Its all about the Lord's perfect timing!

About Church Buildings
Provide a place of worship and permanence
Fellowships of believers are growing across the world, yet many lack a safe, consistent place to meet for worship. Your donation will help GFA construct a church building for one of these congregations who lack the resources to do it on their own.
The average cost to build a church in nations where we serve is $10,000 - $40,000 depending on the capacity and the location. This provides not only a place for worship and discipleship, but is a vital symbol to the community of security and permanence.
