Instead of buying me presents for my birthday I would like your help to raise money to buy mosquito nets to help save lives.
It would mean a lot to me and those who will receive the nets.
About Mosquito Nets
Mosquitoes are not only a nuisance—they are the deadliest animal in the world. By spreading diseases like malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, and encephalitis, they kill over 600,000 people every year. Another 200 million people are incapacitated for days at a time.
If a person is given a mosquito net, they can wrap their bed with it. This allows them to sleep without being bitten. This reduces exposure to mosquitoes and decreases the chances of catching diseases, especially among children.
Every $10 donated is enough for GFA to provide a mosquito net to a family in need. This will be given in regions most impacted by mosquitos.
