Cycling has been a huge part of my life since college. Early on, it was a competitive adventure and included a number of ultra/endurance and extremely challenging events. It was also one of my primary social connections. One of my best friends to this day is the man who introduced me to the sport. It was one of the connections that my wife and I shared during our courtship. And more recently, it has been my avenue to stay active and keep off the weight.
I'm thrilled now to promote this campaign for Gospel for Asia to provide wheels for the advancement of the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Watch the video below and see how much impact a $110 bicycle can have for a missionary in Asia. Help me reach my goal to provide 25 bicycles to these missionaries.

I will be using some physical challenges to promote this campaign. You are welcome to join me if you like. =)
1. Early January - First Attempt - Knighthood of Sufferlandria. It involves doing 10 high intensity videos on the bike trainer back to back with minimal breaks. It is around 11 hours and the equivalent of 150-200 miles on the road.
2. Late January - Tour of Sufferlandria. A day 10 tour of a fictional country. This like the knighthood attempt is all performed on the bike trainer.
3. Mid/Late February - Second attempt at Knighthood if the first fails.
4. Early May - 3 State 3 Mountain Century in Chattanooga, TN
About Bicycles
Help Missionaries Go Farther, Faster
Many GFA missionaries spend arduous hours walking from one village to another. With a heavy-duty bicycle, a missionary can carry loads of Bibles, or even colleagues, over rough roads and rugged terrain to minister to people in need.
Every $110 you give provides a heavy-duty bicycle to a local missionary and makes them more productive, so they can double or triple the number of people they minister to for the sake of God’s kingdom.
Bicycles are given to GFA missionaries. Bicycles are also given through gift distribution programs to help the poor earn a better living or get to school from far distances. Through these gifts, people experience Christ’s love.
