The women that this campaign supports are forgotten and abandoned simply because they have been widowed. In the Hindu culture in India a woman that is a widow is considered a bad omen and sadly any woman who's husband dies is shunned by all of her family, friends, and neighbors. She is left to die destitute and alone after losing her husband. Arguably one of the most painful times in a woman's life. A manual sewing machine means that she can earn a living and feed her children. Please consider making a small donation toward 1 manual sewing machine. Gospel for Asia missionaries provide sewing classes as well as the love and light of Jesus Christ to our broken sisters.

About sewing machines
Many poor families in developing nations don’t make enough money to provide for their daily needs. Sewing machines offer those with no education the opportunity to make enough income to feed the family and to send their children to school.
Your donation will enable GFA World to provide sewing machines to families in need. Every $100 is enough for one sewing machine. Training classes are also given, so each sewing machine can be put to good use.
