Hi! Thanks for taking an interest in our campaign. During a bible study with our children they decided they wanted to raise some money for people who didn't have as much as we do. I'd heard about Gospel for Asia on the radio and as my hobby is sewing we deciding we would try to raise enough money to buy a sewing machine for a family in Asia. We are hoping to do this by asking other children to join us on a sponsored walk but you can donate through this page as well. £110 is enough to buy two sewing machines.
Many families work as laborers; sometimes having to sell their children just to earn enough money to support their family. By providing a sewing machine to those in need, they now have a chance to start their own tailoring business. Please watch the video below to see the difference just one sewing machine can make to somebody's life!
About sewing machines
Many poor families in developing nations don’t make enough money to provide for their daily needs. Sewing machines offer those with no education the opportunity to make enough income to feed the family and to send their children to school.
Your donation will enable GFA World to provide sewing machines to families in need. Every £55 is enough for one sewing machine. Training classes are also given, so each sewing machine can be put to good use.
