It all started last Christmas when we got a Christmas Catalog from GFA. At first we thought we should buy something small ~~ like chickens~~ But God kept impressing on me to buy a camel. My mom laughed thinking it was too much money but I just couldn't stop thinking about this camel which could provide so much for a family like wool, milk, transportation and provide an income. In just two weeks I raised enough money to purchase that camel! God has really shown me His limitlessness.
He has now given me the desire to build a church. I have already started my fundraising by selling cupcakes at a local community event. God is preparing me for a fundraising event which I hope will raise enough money to build church. I was praying that I would be able to go to a community that is in need of a church so I could help build it, but after reading KPs book, "Revolution in World Missions", I realize that my efforts to support native missionaries far surpass my desire to travel to Asia. About Church Buildings
Provide a place of worship and permanence
Fellowships of believers are growing across the world, yet many lack a safe, consistent place to meet for worship. Your donation will help GFA construct a church building for one of these congregations who lack the resources to do it on their own.
The average cost to build a church in nations where we serve is $10,000 - $40,000 depending on the capacity and the location. This provides not only a place for worship and discipleship, but is a vital symbol to the community of security and permanence.
