This year I will officially a Senior. I really wanted to do something eternal for my 65th birthday. There really isn't anything in the world I need for my Birthday, so I have decided to raise funds for a Church Building because I have been to Asia myself and have seen how important a church building is to a congregation of believers. Everywhere I traveled I saw temples and ornate places of worship. I understand that it's difficult for believers to be seen as having anything real to offer when they don't even have a building in which to worship their God. Besides this, a building gives them a place of safety and a place where they can invite others to "come and see".
Please join me in celebrating this milestone by building something that has an eternal purpose in Asia. I don't need any birthday presents at all, but I'd be so grateful if you would make an eternal difference with me!
I am hoping to achieve this goal by my 66th birthday :)
About Church Buildings
Provide a place of worship and permanence
Fellowships of believers are growing across the world, yet many lack a safe, consistent place to meet for worship. Your donation will help GFA construct a church building for one of these congregations who lack the resources to do it on their own.
The average cost to build a church in nations where we serve is $10,000 - $40,000 depending on the capacity and the location. This provides not only a place for worship and discipleship, but is a vital symbol to the community of security and permanence.
