Imagine not being able to read or even to write your own name. That is unfortunately the fate of over 250 million women in South Asia who are illiterate. For many they just never had access to education because of poverty. Instead of being at school like their brothers, they had to help with domestic duties at home. GFA conducts training classes and provides an opportunity for thousands of these precious women every year to read for the first time in their lives.
My parents & I would like to donate ALL the gift money received from my party to help raise money for these literacy classes.
Gospel For Asia ensures that 100% of all monies are transferred to the field. Furthermore there is complete accountability that your money ends up exactly where it was supposed to go.
Plus when you donate online you get a tax receipt too! If you prefer not to give online then please bring your donation with you to my party & I will send it to GFA along with the rest of the donations.

About women's literacy
There are over 250 million women in South Asia who are illiterate. Because of this, GFA workers are training thousands of women every year to read.
Your donation will enable GFA to provide books, training materials, and classes for women in developing nations. This will empower them to care for their families, avoid bad contracts that cause debt, and overcome abusive employers who take advantage of their ignorance. They’ll also get better prices at the marketplace—just because they can do math. Finally, churches will be strengthened as women are able to read the Bible for the first time.
