My name is Serafina, and I want to buy a church building for a congregation in Asia. If they have a building, they can have church services without being around blazing heat during the summer, bugs, and rain. They can also use it during the week for stuff like women's literacy classes. But one building costs much more than I can afford. I'm planning to sell potholders and cookies, but if anyone wants to just donate, I'd love that. Something interesting is that a church building costs ten thousand dollars, and the tenth anniversary of my heart transplant is coming up.
Note from Serafina's mom:
Our daughter had a heart transplant at the age of two, and we are celebrating the tenth anniversary of that occasion in 2015. We can think of no better way to mark this milestone (and also honor the memory of her heart donor, Jonathan) than to do something good for others. Serafina truly has a heart for others, and it was her idea to start this campaign, and her idea to buy a church building. It is a big goal, but our daughter knows she serves a big God for Whom nothing is impossible. Will you join her? Thank you and God bless you!

About Church Buildings
Provide a place of worship and permanence
Fellowships of believers are growing across the world, yet many lack a safe, consistent place to meet for worship. Your donation will help GFA construct a church building for one of these congregations who lack the resources to do it on their own.
The average cost to build a church in nations where we serve is $10,000 - $40,000 depending on the capacity and the location. This provides not only a place for worship and discipleship, but is a vital symbol to the community of security and permanence.
