Do you long to change the world?
There are many people like myself: average people with large hearts. We are passionate to love God, love others, and change the world for the better. The only problem is...the world is big and we're small. We have a limited amount of time, talents, and resources: how can we possibly change the world?
J. R. R. Tolkien wrote that, "Little by little, one travels far." Pennies become hundreds of dollars. Inches become miles. Small efforts become huge accomplishments. GROUP efforts can change the world.
That's what this is--a group effort. This is one way to change the world. If everyone who sees this gives 5 dollars, widows in India can be loved. Women will be reached with hope and God's love. Lives will be changed. And through that, the world will be changed.
A small rock can ripple the entire lake. Let's start some ripples.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless in this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. --James 1:27
About Widows
Upon becoming a widow in in some developing nations, a woman is often blamed for her husband's death and enters a life of shame. Burdened with the responsibility to care for her children alone, she is often forced into begging or even prostitution.
You donation will help GFA give widows a means of renewable income, like a sewing machine or farm animals. You'll also help with daily essentials, like blankets and water filters.
This support will be given through the local church, giving widows a chance to learn about the love of Jesus Christ.
