Recently the Sunday School class at our church has been learning about Jesus' commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. The kids have decided to raise money to rescue street children in India. This Saturday (July 13th) our church is hosting a community garage sale with the goal of raising $200.00 toward the cause. The kids will be running a lemonade/baked good stand and are selling some cards that they decorated. We'll post a picture of the event after it's done. We're excited to start with this campaign and hopefully we can continue to raise support in Jesus' name.
Please pray that our garage sale is a success and if you would like to donate directly to the campaign we welcome that too!

Thank you to everyone who helped us pull off the yard sale! It was a big success and we came away with about $440. We've got a few more items to try and sell before we submit the grand total to the campaign too! (Thank you also to the generous anonymous donor).

Street Children
Give a safe haven for vulnerable children
Many cities in developing nations are rife with children who live alone on the streets. These children are vulnerable to kidnappers who sell them into bonded labor and the sex trade. Those who avoid kidnappers fall into gangs, drugs, and alcoholism. They know only distrust and pain; every day is a struggle to survive.
Your donation supports GFA's ministry to street children. Street children homes provide the children with shelter, education, and food, as well as a message of Christ’s love.
