I think the only thing I have campaigned for to raise money was a rummage sale at our church for childcare. I am so excited about this ministry for three reasons. First, all the money raised, 100%, goes to the families, not the organization running the ministry. Second, this is for women, mothers, sisters, daughters, that are living in conditions we can't even imagine and helping them helps me to not take for granted the blessed conditions I have been given. And finally, I love people from India. We have precious neighbors that have won our hearts and since meeting them we have had many brief encounters with other wonderful families from India. It has opened our eyes to another culture and people that seemed so different before, but now seem so similar to us. About sewing machines
Many poor families in developing nations don’t make enough money to provide for their daily needs. Sewing machines offer those with no education the opportunity to make enough income to feed the family and to send their children to school.
Your donation will enable GFA World to provide sewing machines to families in need. Every $100 is enough for one sewing machine. Training classes are also given, so each sewing machine can be put to good use.
