Hi Family and Friends!
It was a great delight when after months of prayer the Lord very clearly led us to begin a relationship together that we both knew would lead to marriage. We began dating on June 25, 2012, and became engaged on December 25, 2012. Excitement is now building as May 25, 2013, (the day of our wedding) quickly approaches.
One thing that we are particularly excited about is this opportunity to invite you to join us in helping fund a church building on the mission field. We have decided that instead of receiving the blessing of many wedding gifts, we would have more joy in seeing our friends and family help to construct a church building.
Can you imagine 50 people gathering together in your home each Sunday? And what if your home were only a small hut? Or can you imagine going to a church building that was erected with whatever materials that could be found, merely scraps, branches, and rags? Then when the storm came you found your church building had been completely destroyed. Now your congregation meets under a tree instead. These are the conditions of many churches around the world today.
A church building provides protection from weather, wild animals, and religious opposition. It also provides a haven where believers can freely worship without interruption or accusation. This structure will allow for many more people to gather together in worship and fellowship. With an established place to meet the church will be able to grow in a way that it hadn’t previously been able to.
We know that God made marriage to represent Christ and His relationship with the Church. As we enter wedlock our desire is to see the Body of Christ, the Church, grow, especially in the countries of South Asia. So to bless and encourage us for our wedding and journey together, please donate to our wedding campaign. The rewards are eternal.

About Church Buildings
Provide a place of worship and permanence
Fellowships of believers are growing across the world, yet many lack a safe, consistent place to meet for worship. Your donation will help GFA construct a church building for one of these congregations who lack the resources to do it on their own.
The average cost to build a church in nations where we serve is $10,000 - $40,000 depending on the capacity and the location. This provides not only a place for worship and discipleship, but is a vital symbol to the community of security and permanence.
