Isn't this amazing! We made in excess of our goal. This is more than we could have hope for or imagined.
Wow! We're up to $7,300. Last day of our campaign and we're so grateful for everyone who has helped. Your gift of time, talents, money, and spreading the word has been amazing. You're helping people you'll likely never meet. On behalf of them... Thank You.
On to the silent auction and the end of our church building journey together!
Mike and Sara Emenhiser are raising $10,000 to build a church in the Jorhat, Assam area of India (North East)! By partnering with Mike and Sara you'll also be partnering with Gospel for Asia ("GFA").
You can help by:
1. Sending this website to your friends and family.
2. Post on Facebook, Google+, twitter, etc. (we don't have any of these so this would be awesome).
3. Give along with us. You can choose to give anonymously.
4. Pray.
After we have raised the funds together, you'll receive a picture of the church that we help build in India.
GFA Info:
• All donations to our campaign are guaranteed to go to building the church.
• GFA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization (donations are tax deductable).
• GFA is certified by the Independent Charities of America Association. This requires GFA to perform an audit from an independent certified public accounting agency.
• GFA is a charter member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability ("ECFA"). The ECFA is tangible evidence to donors that a ministry is complying with the highest standard of Christian ethics in its governance, fundraising, and financial accounting/reporting.
About Church Buildings
Provide a place of worship and permanence
Fellowships of believers are growing across the world, yet many lack a safe, consistent place to meet for worship. Your donation will help GFA construct a church building for one of these congregations who lack the resources to do it on their own.
The average cost to build a church in nations where we serve is $10,000 - $40,000 depending on the capacity and the location. This provides not only a place for worship and discipleship, but is a vital symbol to the community of security and permanence.
