I want to raise money for 5 sets of chickens, because I am 5 years old. To do this, I am going to read 5 chapters of the Bible, all by myself.
Would you sponsor me, so that I can raise money to give food for people in Asia who are hungry?
10/30/12--Today, I read Genesis 1:1-23 out loud to my mom. It is about the first 5 days of creation.
10/31/12--Today, I finished reading Genesis 1 and learned about the 6th day of creation. 1 chapter down; 4 to go!
11/1/12--I am halfway through the second chapter of Genesis, now.
11/5/12--I finished the second chapter of Genesis. :-)
11/8/12--I finished all five chapters of Bible reading. I read Genesis 1-4, and 6 (Chapter 5 has too many hard names.)
I'm ready to buy those chickens, now!
Small gift, big impact.
For people in developing nations, a pair of chickens can create a steady income. Chicken eggs provide food for the family and the extras can be sold at the market. Chickens also make more chickens, which provides for a family for years.
