If my heart can be wrenched when I hear the stories of children who have been sold into labor, prostitution, or are forced to beg on the streets, how much more does our loving Father who knows each one of these children personally care for these kids?
If Jesus showed up at our door, we would bang down the door with eagerness to let Him in. But, would we do the same for a child who has never bathed and is wearing torn clothing?
In Matthew 25:40, Jesus reminds us that, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
There are children in the world today who work all day so they can buy one meal. They need the meal so they can live. And the next day they get up and go do the same thing. That is their life.
Baylor’s memorial dining hall is about a minute’s walk away for me. When I get there I swipe my card (for no work), walk in and can grab as much food as I want. In the entirety of my lifetime, I have never gone hungry. God blessed me with loving parents who wanted to, and could provide me with every necessity.
And now because I know the love of Christ, I want to work so these children can have their childhood back. A childhood ever human being deserves. One in which they can go to school and play. One where they can be clothed in clean clothing with no tears in it. One where they can take a bath and eat nourishing food. Without working for it.
With the opportunity of being admitted into a Bridge of Hope center, children can have all these things. They too can hear about God’s love for them and be claimed by their Savior, Jesus Christ.
God’s love is strong enough for us to live on. Without the knowledge of this love, humanity has nothing to put their hope in.
The biggest and most life depleting diseases in the world are loneliness and the feeling of being unwanted.
Millions and millions of real live children are lost in the darkness of these diseases.
What if we could cure these diseases by telling them that God loves them unconditionally and wants a relationship with them for forever?
I invite each one of you to donate what you can in efforts of sponsoring a child so they can be admitted in a Bridge of Hope center.

Parents across developing nations struggle to provide for their families. Children grow up illiterate and are taught they are worthless. GFA World turns these situations around for the good with the Child Sponsorship Program, where children are educated and nurtured, and families hear about Jesus. Each child is assigned a sponsor to support him or her through the program.
Some children have yet to receive a sponsor. By supporting unsponsored children, you can allow more children to attend the program as they wait for a sponsor and learn about the love of Christ.
