Do you know that there are hundreds even thousands of children who don't have clean fresh water? Do you know kids my age (7) have to walk for miles
to collect water in big buckets to bring home? Did you know that the water is yucky, dirty, and gross? It is full of garbage, dead things and germs. It is the same water
that the people go to the bathroom in.
We watched a video about children in Africa (Step into my shoes). I wanted to know why we couldn't just give them some of our water.
My mom said we couldn't but we could help a village by buying a well. A Jesus Well. It will cost $1400!! That's a lot of money.
we are going to have a yardsale on May 30th. All of our friends are going to help. We will have a bbq, face painting, balloon animals, chili, baked goods, plants, video games and lots and lots of other things.
Please come and help us raise money for a well. You can come shop, donate items or money.
Please help a child like me to have clean water.

About Jesus Wells

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
