Help us build a church in Asia!
As a church, we at Cornerstone Bible Church in Oil City, PA want to raise the funds for a church building for a congregation of our brothers and sisters in Asia. Many congregations in South Asia lack a permanent building to meet in as a church. This is not just a hardship for the believers who want to meet regularly for church, but also hinders the effectiveness of the overall ministry of the pastor and congregation and their ability to reach out to the community around them.
These are some of the benefits a permanent building provides-
1. Space for the entire congregation, versus meeting in homes that are too small.
2. Shelter from the elements- believers are free to worship and seek the presence of God together any time—during monsoon season and even in the hot summer.
3. A sanctuary that offers believers a place to cry out to God in safety.
4. In Asian culture, a permanent place of worship signifies that the religion itself is important and opens up doors in the community for missionaries to work.
5. In many places, believers don’t have a safe place to gather due to hostile neighbors and persecution. A building grants legitimacy in the society and lawful protection from the government.
6. A building offers a consistent location to hold a host of programs to strengthen the Body of Christ and bless their communities- such as Women’s Fellowships, prayer meetings, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible Schools.
The average cost to build a church in South Asia is only $11,000. What a privilege to be able to help provide a building for our brothers and sisters in Christ! Will you join with us?!

Provide a place of worship and permanence
Fellowships of believers are growing across the world, yet many lack a safe, consistent place to meet for worship. Your donation will help GFA construct a church building for one of these congregations who lack the resources to do it on their own.
The average cost to build a church in nations where we serve is $10,000 - $40,000 depending on the capacity and the location. This provides not only a place for worship and discipleship, but is a vital symbol to the community of security and permanence.
