Thank you for taking the time to visit our Families Empowering Widows Campaign page. We're the Castro family, and we're very thankful to live in a country where there is social assistance and programs for widows and orphans. Sadly, this is not the case in most parts of the world.
This Christmas season, we believe that it is our joyful privilege to partner with Gospel for Asia in providing hope and help for widows who are truly alone and abandoned. As a family, we feel honored to speak and act on their behalf in inviting your family and others to consider partnering with us as we endeavor to raise funds to empower three widows with the skills to make a living and provide hope for their them and their children.

About Widows
Upon becoming a widow in in some developing nations, a woman is often blamed for her husband's death and enters a life of shame. Burdened with the responsibility to care for her children alone, she is often forced into begging or even prostitution.
You donation will help GFA give widows a means of renewable income, like a sewing machine or farm animals. You'll also help with daily essentials, like blankets and water filters.
This support will be given through the local church, giving widows a chance to learn about the love of Jesus Christ.
