Hello and thanks for visiting this site. I am a University Professor and a Finance Professional; one with a deep desire to make a difference in the life of street children - a defenceless, exploited and vulnerable segment of humanity.
I was once with an agency called Larkin Street Services that provides shelter and hope for runaway children between the ages of 13 -18 years, in the city of San Francisco. These kids come from far and wide and end up on the streets of San Francisco.
I am currently working with another agency in the San Francisco Bay Area, that helps poor kids from birth through age 5, get a start on life.
Children are my passion - to give sustenance and spread the message of hope to the orphans and destitute children of the world, in some small way is my goal in life. I somehow believe that the future of humanity in Asia, lies with children that have been redeemed from the clutches of poverty or have been rescued from the predations of society.
I am calling this campaign "LarkinStreet" in fond memory of the fulfilling years that I spent helping kids get off the street.
I hope you will find it in your heart to join me in my campaign to provide help and care for the forgotten children of Asia. The love of Christ compels me to do something, however small, to make these precious lives, in a less developed part of the world, just a little bit better.

Street Children
Give a safe haven for vulnerable children
Many cities in developing nations are rife with children who live alone on the streets. These children are vulnerable to kidnappers who sell them into bonded labor and the sex trade. Those who avoid kidnappers fall into gangs, drugs, and alcoholism. They know only distrust and pain; every day is a struggle to survive.
Your donation supports GFA's ministry to street children. Street children homes provide the children with shelter, education, and food, as well as a message of Christ’s love.
