Message from Rob and Rebecca
When the two of us first started courting, God gave us these verses:
God be merciful to us and bless us,
and cause His face to shine upon us,
Selah
that Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.
…
Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy!
(Psalm 67:1-2,4a)
Our passion is for the glory of God and the joy of the nations. That’s what we want our wedding to be about.
So, why did we choose to do a MyGFA campaign instead of a wedding registry?
LOVE. The two of us love each other very much, but we love Christ and His kingdom even more. We are compelled by God’s urgent love for the perishing multitudes of Asia to do all that we can to reach them while there is still time.
JOY. Both of us agree that we would derive greater joy from seeing our friends rally together for this cause – leading the nations to the joy of knowing God – than we would from receiving gifts to furnish our house.
After much thought and prayer, we decided on a campaign goal of $17,280. This amount will fully supply four national missionaries for one year. This is an ambitious goal, but God has stirred our hearts to seek Him for great things.

About National Missionaries
National missionaries have a passion to help the people in their nations understand Christ's love. They pray for and minister to those who are sick. They provide income-generating gifts to families living in poverty. They serve communities in practical ways, such as by organizing medical camps, adult literacy classes and community service projects. They help mothers and fathers provide for their children's education and future development. They also have a deep burden to help people know and experience the love of Christ—just like they have experienced.
Through GFA's National Missionary Fund, we can provide for the ministry and living expenses of the missionaries who do not yet have sponsors. This enables them to stay focused on the work God has put before them.
