Message from Janell
I am looking forward to summer and getting to spend time with Micah and Leah. I was thinking of all the fun we have to look forward to and how many fun water activities we have like swim lessons and beach trips. I want my kids and myself to have fun, but I also want us to spend our time doing things for others as well.
We decided to start this campaign for a Jesus well for many reasons. Water is necessary for a healthy life, and we have the luxury of playing in water where we live while people in other countries don't have enough clean water to survive. That is a harsh reality. A Jesus well not only provides fresh water, it also provides hope for people who hear about Jesus, maybe for the first time.
Micah and I had a lot of fun painting canvases last summer for some friends and family. This year we would like to do the same. So, for each donation we will paint an 8x10 canvas to give away. We can make letters, crosses, Bible verses, butterflies, and baseballs..just to name a few. We are going to let little Leah in on the action this summer too. So, join us in giving water and hope to a village in need. And we will joyfully paint you a picture! Painting with a one year old and three year old is going to be a wet and wild summer!

About Jesus Wells

Jesus Wells increase the health standards of a village, allowing for children to be nourished and animals to be watered. The wells you provide are located in the village or community, so women and children no longer have to walk hours to find water.
With one well you can save an entire village from waterborne illnesses.
Unlike the dirty water from stagnant ponds, streams or old shallow wells, this water is clean and creates an awareness of good hygiene, leading to fewer medical problems and healthier people.
