Message from Vanessa and Briggs
We are at it again!!!!! Briggs and I are gearing up for another triathlon. We had so much fun last year training together and talking about the life changing work of Gospel for Asia. Briggs and I were overwhelmed at the support of friends and family last year and felt honored to be a part of God's work in Asia.
Because we know that our God is Big and Awesome and there is nothing He can not do, we are doubling our goal and hoping to raise $2000.00!!!! GFA has many areas of support for the people of Asia. Briggs and I feel led to give this year's donations to purchasing bicycles for the local missionaries. This will give them reliable and more efficient transportation, which will allow for more opportunities to share the gospel with remote villages.
Already, Briggs has set his mind on doing his very best! He is on swim team and practicing to improve his time swimming 50M. Cycling comes more naturally to him but that has not slowed him down on learning to use his gears in hopes of flying through that portion of the race. Running is his biggest challenge, but with perseverance he is getting better. He will swim 50M, bike 2K and run 1K.
I too am training hard. In contrast to my sweet son the bicycle is the most challenging leg of the race, but I am trying to learn how to improve. I will swim 400M, bike 19K and run 5K.
Join us in this challenge!!!! You do not have to swim, bike or run we will happily do that for you. All you have to do is prayerfully consider donating to Gospel For Asia. Any amount is a blessing, truly. YOU will be making a difference in lives on the other side of the world. Get involved and be blessed as you see God work!!!!!!!!

About Bicycles
Help Missionaries Go Farther, Faster
Many GFA missionaries spend arduous hours walking from one village to another. With a heavy-duty bicycle, a missionary can carry loads of Bibles, or even colleagues, over rough roads and rugged terrain to minister to people in need.
Every $110 you give provides a heavy-duty bicycle to a local missionary and makes them more productive, so they can double or triple the number of people they minister to for the sake of God’s kingdom.
Bicycles are given to GFA missionaries. Bicycles are also given through gift distribution programs to help the poor earn a better living or get to school from far distances. Through these gifts, people experience Christ’s love.
